one bait only????

if you could use one bait only to fish with for the rest of your life what would it be??????



without a shadow of doubt mine would be prawns,when everyone else is using bolies i bag up with prawn!!!

its got to be boilies, decent ones tho. £5kg
can catty them along way
just defrost what you need and re freeze what you dont use
can break them up in bits.
Dont need to go to the tackle shop ot supermarket to buy bait, buy 10 kgs and wack it in the freezer use it as and when.

not too smart for spooky old fish tho. maggots and prawns wud be better!! im just going on convieneince.

i aint that cheap skate. corn is gd but too many bream and roach love it, i use to bait up that lake up north with a 26p tin of corn a day and 1/4 kg of boilies, the Fcuking roach ate all the corn every day, took me weeks to realise, big roach too. yellow shit all over your hand wen u catch one!

No, I've never used shrimp/prawns for carp. So that's one of the best baits to use for the bigger carp huh?

its up to yourself really ive never done well on it (dnt do well on much) but other have done good

Actually no I don't.... I've never found any places near me that sell boilies as carp fishing isn't quite as big over here in the U.S.A. as it is over in the U.K. I've found recipes for them online but haven't tried to make ay of them cause I don't want to waste all that money on something if it's not gonna work.

if you make a decent boilie it will defo work if the carp havent seen a bait like that as nobody uses it then you will defo up your catches

But that's the thing..... I wouldn't know which recipe to make since I don't know which one's are good. Have you ever made your own?

i like to use it when everyone else is using bolies,sometimes using a bait that is different to everyone elses can give you the edge!!havin said that i would never go to a swim with just prwns/shrimp and i always have to form of bolies on me anyway!

I hear ya there.... It's always good to have multiple baits on you especially if you're not sure of the normal baits other anglers use in that particular waterbody.

to certain extent,but its better to find out what 'works' on the particular water.i take different baits to the different lakes i fish.

I'm not a big fan of boilies only because I've only caught catfish on them, but I'm not giving up on them. But going back to topic, my bait would be corn, real or fake.

it wud have 2 b a gd freezer bait maybe 1 from mainline or my m8s homemades that im on now i dnt think u can go wrong tigers r up there tho

It would have to be nash scopex squid robin red simply coz in the last 12 months its put 5 forties n 13 thirties on the mat for me plus countless twenties n its caught me fish on every venue i fished last year.
