went in to wilkinsons the other day and found some 2kg bags of bird food for just 80p and i thought it looked great for a spod mix. i am going to prepare some hemp over the weekend so do you think it would be ok if i just mixed the hemp and bird food together and prepared bird food the same as you would hemp?

it may need a longer soak than the hemp, depends whats in it,give 48 hours to be safe then 20mins boiling
