spod mix..

whats in yours??????

in mine there is:

1kg of bird seed (soaked for 48 hours and boilies for 30 mins)
some times half a kg of hemp
2 tins of corn
2 tins of tuna
2-3 tbl spoons of chilli powder
1-2 tbl spoons of salt
some times chopped boilies
some times 2 handfulls of breadcrumb to thicken the mix up if its flying out of the back of the spod.
i have used this mix every session for 2 months and only blanked once.

i never use a spod mix.just put 5-8 boilies around my hook bait

Same here mate, most of my fishing is done quite close in, so I just thicken my particles up with bread crumb and ball them in

i only ever feed halli pellets cos the lake i fish the carp go crazy for them.im not a fan of spodding as i think it scares the fish to much

i think ive spoded 3 times iam not a fan tbh i just use my baitboat :oops:

i have never done eather.where i fish the carp are very spooky so i put my bait in by hand/catty

diffrent tactics diffrent waters i surpose....

i dont spod i prefer to use pva, but my mate that do spod says that rather than spookin carp, its like a dinner bell and draws them in!!
