| read some where that bait smells totally different under water, all the carp can really tell is a chemical signal, I reckon most of the flavours are ust there to catch the angler! If you got a good nutritional base mix it shouldnt need flavourings to catch, it should do it on its own! | |

yeah i agree wiv wot u say sumwot but why wud people glug good quality bolies then when there already a good source of nutrition?????? cause they got it ,once youve been mugged in the tackle shop your tell all sorts of shit to justify it, and as the is no proof to say it works or doesnt ,we all try things that we dont really need to.thats the joy of angling | |

| i still glug my baits, but not in stuff from the tackle shops, I like mollasses, cod liver oil (summer only though) and what ever particle juice I have frozen. I dont think alot of the shop brough glugs do the bait much good really, apart from hardening them, all the liquids I use have some sort of nutrional value, aren't the glugs just a gelatine with a load of concentrated colour and flavour added, maybe the odd bit of krill or chilli etc? | |
